A family photo session in West Palm Beach and Wellington costs $295 for 45 minutes with up to 25 edited photos. The 60-minute Extended Family session is $425 with 35 photos, and the 90-minute Legacy session is $695 with 50 edited photos and an 8×8 printed album.

Below is what each session includes, what changes the price, and how families in Wellington, Royal Palm Beach and Loxahatchee-Acreage are booking ahead of the holiday card rush.

Family photography pricing in West Palm Beach & Wellington (2026)

Three sessions, each at one flat price:

  • Family Session, $295: 45 minutes, up to 25 edited photos. It fits most immediate families: parents, kids and the dog.
  • Extended Family Session, $425: 60 minutes, 35 edited photos, with room for a larger family, several groupings or two locations. It is the session families book most.
  • Legacy Session, $695: 90 minutes, up to two locations, 50 edited photos and an 8×8 printed album of 20 pages.

Groups of more than 6 people add $45 per extra person. Prices are before tax.

Family sessions from $295

45 minutes, one location, 25 edited photos. The 60-minute session with 35 photos is $425. Your full preview gallery arrives within 24 hours.

What’s included in every session

  • One photographer for setup, direction and shooting.
  • Your full preview gallery in under 24 hours. You see every photo, not a pre-selected handful, and choose your favorites.
  • Edited photos: 25, 35 or 50 depending on the session, chosen by you from that gallery.
  • Full print rights and a premium gallery with a print store, shareable favorites and instant HD downloads.
  • Travel anywhere in South Florida: Wellington, Royal Palm Beach, Loxahatchee-Acreage or the coast.

The 24-hour gallery is the part most families haven’t had with a photographer before. You know that evening whether the session worked, instead of waiting two weeks.

What changes the price

Time and group size move you from one session to the next. If it’s just your household, 45 minutes is almost always enough, and most families are surprised how much happens once the kids settle in.

With grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins, the 60-minute Extended session leaves time to split the group: just the grandkids, just the siblings, then everyone together. The 90-minute Legacy session adds a second location and the printed album.

If you want hair and makeup first, a professional makeup artist comes to your home: $175 per person, or $100 for makeup only.

Best times and places for family photos near Wellington and Royal Palm Beach

Golden hour, the hour before sunset, is when South Florida light is softest and kids squint the least. From October through April it also lines up with comfortable temperatures, which is why fall and winter fill first.

For families in Wellington, Royal Palm Beach or Loxahatchee-Acreage, a park or open green space close to home keeps younger kids relaxed. A short drive to the coast works too: DuBois Park in Jupiter has sand, shade trees and calm water in one place, which helps when the ages range from toddler to teenager.

When to book

For holiday cards, October and November dates go first.
