Michael’s Golden Hour Proposal on a Striped Blanket at Ocean Inlet Park

He called at 4:05 PM. At 6:30 we met at Ocean Inlet Park.

Michael called me on a Friday afternoon, at 4:05. He wanted photos that same evening, 6:30 PM, at Ocean Inlet Park in Ocean Ridge, right next to Boynton Beach. That evening he went down on one knee on a striped blanket, with the sun dropping behind the trees.

How it went

We had 45 minutes and the last light of the day. The blanket was on the grass, in front of a long hedge. She was barefoot in a black dress. He wore a white shirt. He asked, and she said yes.

After the ring I mostly stayed out of the way. They kissed on the blanket and laughed a lot. At one point she stopped to look at her hand. Then we walked the park, down the path to a weathered bench, and I shot the rest with the sun behind them.

From the call to the gallery in about a day

The call came on Friday afternoon and the session was that same evening. Their gallery went out on Saturday.

A proposal on short notice can work. If your plan is this week, or even tonight, call me anyway.

A few seconds of the evening

Planning to ask? Here is how I work as a surprise proposal photographer in West Palm Beach and the rest of Palm Beach County, from Jupiter down to Boynton Beach.
