Juno Beach Pier Proposal Photographer

Looking for a Juno Beach Pier proposal photographer? I’m Felipe from The Love Pics. I hide in plain sight near the 990-foot pier at Juno Beach Park, photograph the moment you get down on one knee and stay for the celebration. Proposals start at $695 with one hour of coverage and 20 edited photos, and your full preview gallery arrives within 24 hours.

The pier faces east, so sunrise is the hour that makes this spot: the sun comes up over the Atlantic right behind the pilings. See every option on my surprise proposal photographer page.

On the pier or on the sand next to it?

Both work, and they give different photos. On the sand you get the whole pier behind you and room for a styled scene. On the pier you get open ocean on both sides and a quieter, simpler moment.

The pier is managed by Loggerhead Marinelife Center and charges a small spectator fee at the pier house. From March 1 to October 31 it is open sunrise to sunset, seven days a week; from November 1 to February 28 it opens at 6 a.m. and closes at 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and at midnight on Friday and Saturday.

The pier is being refurbished: what that means for your date

Refurbishment of the Juno Beach Pier began on June 1, 2026. Loggerhead Marinelife Center says the work is phased to avoid a full closure whenever possible, with an estimate of about six months, so a section of the pier can be fenced off on any given week.

That is why I plan Juno proposals on the sand first, with the pier as the backdrop, and treat a walk on the pier as a bonus. I check the pier’s own update page the week of your date.

Juno Beach Park is a county park, so plan a week ahead

Juno Beach Park, at 14775 U.S. Highway 1, belongs to Palm Beach County and is open sunrise to sunset. The county requires a permit for a business to run professional photo sessions in its parks, and marriage proposals are on its list of covered sessions.

Balloons are prohibited at this park, to protect sea turtles. If balloons were part of your idea, I’ll suggest flowers instead.

  • Daily permit: valid for one session of up to three hours at one park.
  • Processing: the county asks you to allow five business days from the day the application is submitted.
  • Applications go by email to parksphoto@pbc.gov or in person to the county parks office at John Prince Park, 2700 6th Avenue South, Lake Worth.

Questions people ask before booking

Yes, when the section you want is open. The pier charges a small spectator fee and, since June 2026, it is being refurbished in phases, so parts of it can be closed. I plan the proposal on the sand with the pier behind you and add the pier walk if it is open that day.

Sunrise. The pier faces east, the beach is nearly empty and the light is soft. The park opens at sunrise, so we meet in the parking lot a few minutes before and I am in position before you walk down.

Juno Beach Park is a Palm Beach County park, and the county requires a permit for professional photo sessions, including marriage proposals. The county asks for five business days to process it, so book at least a week ahead. The fee is set by the county.

I arrive early and shoot from a distance with a long lens, like one more person photographing the sunrise. We agree by text on the exact spot and a signal, so she doesn’t suspect anything until you are on one knee.

The Essential Proposal Set-Up & Photography is $695: one hour of coverage and 20 edited photos. Set-Up, Photo + Cinematic Video is $895, and the Luxury Custom Proposal is $1,295. A 50% deposit reserves your date.
