These are county parks I like for maternity because parking is close, the walk is short and there are restrooms. All are open sunrise to sunset.
Most moms schedule their session between weeks 30 and 36, when the belly is round and moving around is still comfortable. Those weeks book out first, so reserve as soon as you know your dates.
For light, I suggest the last hour before sunset or early morning. Jupiter’s beaches face east: mornings put the color over the ocean, and evenings give soft, even light on the sand. In summer, mornings are cooler and less likely to bring rain.
Palm Beach County requires a permit for a business to run professional photo sessions in its parks. That includes the four parks above, so plan your date at least a week ahead. Riverbend handles its own daily permits at riverbendpark@pbc.gov.
One fitted dress that shows the belly and one flowing dress that moves with the wind cover almost every photo you have seen and liked. Soft colors, cream, white, sage and dusty blue, work with sand and water. Partners look best in a simple shirt in the same tones. Bring sandals you can slip off.
Prices are before tax. Your partner and older children are included at no extra charge; groups of more than 6 people add $45 per extra person. The county photography permit is a separate fee set by Palm Beach County; check the county parks page for the current amount.
A 25% deposit holds your date; the balance is due on the day of the session.

The Maternity Session is $295 for 45 minutes with up to 25 edited photos. The Extended Maternity Session is $425 for 60 minutes and 35 photos. The Legacy Maternity Session is $695: 90 minutes, 50 edited photos and an 8×8 printed album.
