Family Photos at Lake Worth Beach Casino

Family photos at the Lake Worth Beach Casino and pier give you a 1920s-style building, a wooden pier and an open beach in one walk. I’m Felipe from The Love Pics. My shortest family session is 45 minutes, $295, with up to 25 edited photos and a private preview gallery in under 24 hours. Most families choose the 60-minute session at $425 so the kids can warm up before we start the portraits.

The complex is at 10 S Ocean Blvd, right where the street meets the sand. It reopened in 2013 after a full restoration, and the William O. Lockhart Pier runs straight out over the water. See all family photography sessions in Palm Beach County.

Why families pick this spot

You get three looks without driving anywhere: the old building and its arches for classic portraits, the pier for photos with the ocean behind you, and the beach for the kids to run and laugh. Everything is a short walk from the same place, which matters when someone is tired or hungry.

I plan the route before the day so we start where the light is softest and finish on the sand. If your family is bigger or you want two locations, I suggest the 60 or 90-minute session so nobody rushes. More ideas in my guide to photo locations in Palm Beach County.

Timing and what to wear

The hour before sunset gives the warmest light and fewer people on the pier. Arrive 15 minutes early so we use all of it. I check the city’s current rules for professional photography before your date and tell you if anything changes.

Coordinate, don’t match. Cream, soft blue, sage and sand photograph beautifully against the building and the water. Skip big logos and very busy patterns. If you are unsure, text me the day before and I’ll tell you what reads best on camera.
