Delray Beach Proposal Photographer

Looking for a Delray Beach proposal photographer? I’m Felipe from The Love Pics. I plan the spot with you, hide before you arrive, photograph the moment you ask and stay for the celebration. Proposals start at $695 with one hour of coverage and 20 edited photos, and your full preview gallery arrives within 24 hours.

I photographed a proposal in Delray Beach in August 2026, and the first thing I tell every client is the same: this city has clear beach rules, and a good plan works with them. Compare all the options on my surprise proposal photographer page.

What Delray Beach allows on the sand

The City of Delray Beach has two public beaches: the Municipal Beach, centered at Atlantic Avenue, and Atlantic Dunes Park. These are the city’s own rules that shape a proposal:

  • Glass containers, alcoholic beverages and grills or fires are prohibited on the beach, so the champagne toast happens off the sand.
  • For beach weddings the city does not allow chairs, tents, arches or tables, and I plan proposals with the same care: nothing staked or built on the public beach.
  • Dogs and other pets are prohibited in all city parks, including the Municipal Beach and Atlantic Dunes Park. The A1A sidewalk is the exception.
  • All city parks close at dusk, so a sunset proposal has to be timed to finish with the light.

So how do we make it special?

On Delray’s public beach I keep it clean: the two of you, the ocean and me hidden with a long lens. Flowers in your hand and a walk on the sand photograph beautifully, and nothing breaks a rule.

If you want the heart of roses, the candles and the neon sign, we stage it where it is allowed, such as a private terrace, your hotel or a venue, and then walk to the beach for portraits. Tell me which version sounds like you and I confirm the details before you book.

Timing and parking

Delray’s beach faces east. Sunrise gives you an almost empty beach and soft color; before sunset the light is even and Atlantic Avenue is a short walk away for dinner afterward.

The city’s beach lots are metered: Sandoway Park, Anchor Park, Ingraham Park, Orange Grove and the Atlantic Dunes lots. Arrive ten minutes early so parking doesn’t rush the moment. I send you a pin and where I’ll be standing.

Questions people ask before booking

Not on the public beach. The city prohibits glass containers, alcoholic beverages and fires on the sand. I plan a clean proposal on the beach and, if you want the full styled scene, we set it up at a private spot that allows it and take portraits on the beach afterward.

The Municipal Beach at Atlantic Avenue is the classic choice and close to restaurants. Atlantic Dunes Park is quieter, with a walk through the dunes before the sand opens up. Tell me how private you want it and I suggest the exact spot.

Sunrise for privacy and color over the ocean. Late afternoon also works well; city parks close at dusk, so we time the proposal to finish with the last light and you go straight to dinner.

The Essential Proposal Set-Up & Photography is $695: one hour of coverage and 20 edited photos. Set-Up, Photo + Cinematic Video is $895, and the Luxury Custom Proposal is $1,295. A 50% deposit reserves your date.

Not on the beach itself: the city prohibits dogs and other pets in all its parks, including the Municipal Beach and Atlantic Dunes Park. If your dog has to be there, we choose another location and I check its rules first.
